Textbook Reservations       

Now you can purchase your textbooks online and have them reserved for you to pickup at the Learning Center of your choice.

How does this work?

·        Reserve Orders can be made online only.

·        Your order can be reserved for pick up from any of our four campus locations:

o       Downtown Campus

o       Courseview Campus

o       Englewood Campus

o       Huber Heights Campus

Downtown Campus Reserve orders are available in 1-2 business days. (We do not process orders on weekends.)

Off-site Campus Reserve orders are sent to the campus' once a week (Wednesday's). During 'Rush'  (the week prior to and the week of the start of classes) off-site Campus Reserve Orders will be sent three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).  (We do not process orders on weekends.)

Payment can be made using  Master Card or Visa, (Financial Aid &Tartan Card at limited times).

How to Place a Reservation Order:

From the front page of the Sinclair Bookstore website:

Click on the ‘Buy’ button to go to the ‘Buy Textbooks’ page, then select Accept on the Textbook Substitution page to continue.

On the Search by Course page, select the Current Quarter list and pick the term you need. Pick your textbooks by Department, Course, and Section to get your book list for each course. Choose the textbooks you wish to purchase, the quantity to order, type, and then click add selected books to cart. Repeat for all of your classes.

Once you have added the textbooks for all the classes you need, click the Continue to Checkout button. 

You will then be requested to login to the site using the e-mail and password you had previously chosen. If you haven't logged in before, choose Create an Account. Complete the requested information and click the button at the bottom. You will then be taken back to the Checkout page.

If your list is complete, click on the Continue to Shipping Info button.

On the checkout page you can review and edit your personal information. Just below that is the Shipping Method section.

*** Here is where you will designate where you want your books to be sent for pickup.

Click on the Shipping Method button to see a pull-down with all the locations available. Choose the Campus (Downtown, Courseview, Englewood or Huber Heights) where you want to pick them up.

Then Click on Continue to Payment Info button to complete your payment preferences, review the order, and submit your order. That’s it.

Your order will be picked for you. And then sent to campus location of your choice.

An E-mail will be sent to you when the order is being shipped to the campus. Please check with your campus to confirm arrival.  (Phone numbers are listed on the e-mail you will receive)

Points to Remember

Reservations can only be placed Online  

Orders are only processed Monday through Friday. (We do not process orders on weekends.)

Payments for your order will be processed when order is received and filled.

      After processing, Downtown Campus Reserve orders will be available in 1-2 business days. Off site Campus Reserve orders are shipped to the campus' three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) the week prior to and the week of the start of classes. Otherwise they are shipped only once a week (Wednesday's).
